Want to Learn About What’s Happening on the Retail Side?
OFA – an Association of Horticulture Professionals – and Lawn & Garden Retailer recently teamed up to survey garden centers about the current state of the industry. The information will be presented at OFA Short Course at 8 a.m. July 14 in Columbus, Ohio.
We wanted to find out what retailers are thinking and how the industry is shaping up in 2009. Not only did we get a snapshot of the industry, but we also got the pulse of garden centers across the country to determine what a “typical” U.S. garden center might look like.
Lawn & Garden Retailer Editorial Director Tim Hodson and Managing Editor Paige Worthy will present the data from the survey and then lead a panel discussion of industry experts: Charlie Cole of Cole Gardens; Faith Savage of Goldsmith Seeds; and Lawn & Garden Retailer contributor Stan Pohmer of Pohmer Consulting Group.
