OFA and Ball Publishing Announce Distribution AgreementSource: OFA

Effective September 1, 2004, OFA’s series of OFA Tips”¦ books began to be distributed exclusively by Ball Publishing, Batavia, Ill. OFA members will continue to receive a discounted price for the OFA Tips”¦ books as well as a discount on all titles published by Ball Publishing.

OFA – an Association of Floriculture Professionals, based in Columbus, Ohio, has published the Tips series for many years, with each book offering practical advice for growers of floriculture crops. Tips on Managing Floriculture Crop Problems: Pests, Diseases, and Growth Control is the latest title, updated and released in April 2004. Other OFA Tips”¦ books discuss vegetative annuals, mixed containers, bedding plants, interiorscapes, fall mums and growth regulators.

OFA and Ball Publishing first partnered in 2003 at the OFA Short Course, where the OFA Bookstore was presented by Ball Publishing. The Bookstore sold titles from the Ball Publishing Bookshelf, the OFA Tips”¦ series and other books of interest to floriculture professionals.

OFA members may order books from the Ball Publishing Bookshelf catalog and the Web site www.ballbookshelf.com. Proof of membership will be required for member benefits. Anyone wishing to become an OFA member should contact OFA directly.
