Available to growers in January 2011, Candy Drops phygelius boasts abundant clusters of pendent flowers in vivid colors that hang from upright stems. This new series was specifically bred for container growing. Compact green foliage accents the color range of flowers that bloom early and repeatedly throughout the summer.

Four colors are currently available: Cream, Deep Rose, Red and Tangerine.
Early flowering and very compact, these phygelius are ideal in containers all by themselves. They also do well in mixed combinations.

Candy Drops must be placed in full sun to partial shade. Plant in moist, but well-drained soil. Cut back spent flower stems for repeat bloom, and winter mulch should be provided.

Finished plants reach a height of 12-18 inches tall and spread 24 inches. Hardy to Zone 8, bloom time is from April to September.
