‘Mai Tai’ is a hybrid with unique colored flowers of vermillion red that fade to peach and finally pink. The single and semidouble flowers start blooming in May and continue for three to four weeks. The short, clumping plants reach about 10 inches tall and more than 12 inches wide, and have burgundy-red stems. Hardy to Zones 4 through 9, ‘Mai Tai’ prefers a moist to well-drained soil in full sun.
