Resolving for Gardening Success in 2013
In last week's edition of GPN Weekly, I asked if you had made any resolutions for the new year. I heard from a few of you who have resolved to get 2013 off to a good start and some who were still procrastinating.
The National Garden Bureau has come up with a list of resolutions for 2013 ... kind of. The NGB recently released a list of five resolutions for gardeners.
And it's a list that you can benefit from.
Here's the NGB's suggested resolutions for gardeners in 2013:
1. I will not blame myself for gardening failures.
2. I will not be afraid to ask questions.
3. I will try something new.
4. I will share my passion.
5. I will embrace nature and garden for the birds, the bees and butterflies (and the bats too)
These are some pretty good resolutions that you might want to share with your wholesale and/or retail customers.
If you are a wholesale grower only, share this list with your retailers, so they can let their gardening customers know about them. If you retail your own plants, be sure to let your consumers know about them.
This list of resolutions is all about success. Remember, a successful gardener is a happy gardener!
So as far as resolutions go, this would be a good year for you to resolve to help gardeners be as successful as they can.
