Walters Gardens Launches New Consumer Websites

Designed to inspire and inform home gardeners from novices to master gardeners about perennial gardening, Walters Gardens Inc. recently launched two new consumer websites: and A key feature of both sites is a retailer locator to help consumers find a retail source for the plants they see online. Gardeners can easily search by ZIP code and get directions to the business.

The perennial resource site has been completely rebuilt and relaunched with new content and an encyclopedia of more than 1,500 varieties of perennials. The perennial encyclopedia is searchable by botanical or common name and more than 40 plant characteristics such as water, sun and soil requirements, bloom time, deer resistance, garden style, seasonal interest, and much more. The site also contains a new “Design & Grow” segment: six steps to designing, creating and maintaining your own perennial garden.

The grow designer plants resource is a brand new website dedicated to the Designer Collection of hostas and daylilies from Walters Gardens. Targeted toward hip, younger gardeners who love designer products, this site features glamorous photos of the perennials in the Designer Collection. The site includes a growers guide and detailed information for each variety.
